Philosophy

Pottery is part of daily living. We create functional pottery designed to be used, touched, and loved every day. A well-made pot becomes a companion to your morning coffee, your evening meal, and the functional moments in between. We believe that we form connections with the objects in our daily lives, and by knowing the maker behind them, those connections deepen. That’s why we only sell our pottery in person to foster real connections between people and the pieces they bring into their homes.

A Surface for exploration

Pottery is meant to be experienced with both the eyes and the hands. We take care in choosing glazes and surface alterations that bring richness and variation to every piece. Whether through layered color, tactile textures, or organic patterns, our pots invite curiosity. Each turn of the hand reveals something new—light catching an unexpected hue, a soft ridge offering a place for the fingers to rest. We intentionally leave part of the clay body exposed as we enjoy the tactile experience. These surfaces are meant to be touched, examined, and enjoyed.

 No Mark, No Ego

Millions of hands have shaped clay throughout human history. Our work is a continuation of those nameless craftspeople. That is why we do not use a maker’s mark on our pottery. We know we made it. When we hand it to you, and you hold it, you know we made it. Beyond that, it doesn’t matter. As long as it serves its purpose and becomes a part of your daily ritual.

Find Us, Hold the Pot, Make It Yours

We believe in the personal experience of choosing a piece of pottery, feeling its weight in your hands, and making that connection in real time. Because of this, we do not sell online. Our pots are only available in person. If you’d like to find us and see our work, reach out to learn where we’ll be next. We look forward to meeting you and sharing the work we love around Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin.
